lol thats a heavy maschine rolex. 16 pounds wow

your welcome for the link.

great place to buy from awesome shipping and awesome quality products. let me know if you do buy one.

That's cool they have silver.... you might have better lucking trying to bargain down for the purple though, just a thought, if you don't mind the de-anno/polishing that is.

I wouldn't, that's just rediculous. That'd damn near half the price of the truck.. c'mon now... I understand the supply is low for that type of item but so is the demand. :nono:

Come on Rolex.... The SAVAGE is DONE... It looks awesome man... Now get to your next project already... BAJA 5B SS.... I promise you, you will feel like an 8yr old on Xmas morning when you open the box... Believe what you read, there's no turning back once you go BAJA... lol :)

Ralph, you've bought plenty of stuff. It's time to have something BUILT. Then you can say you have cutom made aluminum, one of a kind. Nothing like it!

Unbelievable! One $200 part and half of you are trying to shame me into it, and the other half of you are trying to shame me out of it.
If that's the case, and Racer 1966 can do it for half the price, I'm sold, so it's a draw. lol
Someone send him a Savage X trans case! I'll cover your shipping, both ways.

You're ON Racer! I'll get my polishing wheels and compounds ready.

 For an address just pm me.

BTW, I've about got something else ready for you and that Bling-Machine! You and Lessen are gonna be my R&D guys, you just don't know it yet!

Yeah Josh, you're gonna get one too! Actually I've got a couple of things for you! LOL

Not to change your topic, but Rolex, do you have any other nitro r/cs?

That's just great Racer!
I just posted in the Wanted forum, for an empty trans case.

I sold everything I had a few years ago, other than a few planes and a nitro heli, and now I have that for sale. I have a loooooooong extended chassis rustler buried somewhere in storage.

Rolex, I found a great deal on some material to make the case, just need the template.

Just curious, can't fly it, but how much are asking for the heli?

Beason, I'll keep you in mind when I have a Revo specific part.

Just great.
CharliesTheMan will be tearing down his Savage shortly, and will send me his trans. I'll open it up and remove the internals and ship it to you with only the necessary bearings for sizing.

Don't want to derail here, but I guess we've reached the peak of the trans question....
The heli is a Century Falcon .46 nitro, with the Super Tiger engine. About $700 in it. All bushings replaced with ball bearings, and loads of spare parts including all the stock bushings, unused. It could use a new canopy (sunburned) I'll be keeping the receiver since its' channel is for my radio, and it will need a gyro. It's not a little electric, it's a 4 footer. I've been asking $450 through the LHS, but if you're interested, we can work out a sweet deal.
I'll get some pics up in the Aircraft forum this week.

man what a great bunch of guys we have here! not gonna let anyone get raped for a part no matter how rare it is or what it takes to reproduce it.

awwww group hug.

I have to agree with you, Joneser. It never ceases to amaze me what the members here do for each other. I can't imagine there's another R/C site anything close to what we have here.

While cruising the RC sites and blowing out my PayPal account on parts and bling, I came across this:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMCZ9&P=PU

This will cost less than Charlie mailing me his so I can pull the gears and mail it to Racer, then have it mailed back to me, so I can reassemble it and send it back to Charlie. Whew, I'm winded just thinking about it.

Before I get it, I seem to remember reading somewhere about a 4 piece case that makes it easier to adjust shift points. I have reverse and a 3 speed in mine, and only one shift adjustment is accessible. Does anyone know about this?
