I have acquired a set of Imes 44 Baja tires. They are 6.25 inch high and 4.75 inches wide. That's a fairly wide tire!!!!!! Will there be any problems, drivetrain related with running these tires on a tmaxx 3.3. What I'm asking is, will these tires cost me more in engine transmission problems and repairs than they are worth?? Or do people use these every day with no, or little to no problems.

probably have to change ratios need a little more torque to get going with less strain on the drivetrain. but i would also see this putting more strain on the engine. not an expert on nitro but thats at least how it works on actual cars, and would assume it transfers down...

see if anyone else agrees with me but thats what i would go for

Thanks. Looking for any more advise on the above question. Is anyone else using 44's. And what adverse effects will this have on running at the track???
