I found someone who crashed a ft ntc3 with only 3 tanks on the chassis. He was going pretty fast and tore up much of the front end. But almost all of the factory team parts are undamaged including the V.2 rear end.
I'm getting it for $170 shipped. I brought him down quite a bit on the price. But I calculated all the costs to get it back to OEM, and it's like $180. Which is a bummer. I was hoping maybe to have a second ntc3.
I thought about it and i'll just transfer the parts to my Team Kit and just make it a conversion. All I need to be an OEM factory team car is just a chassis and turnbuckles. One of the outdrives on the one-way needs replacing, but I don't want a one-way anyways.
This will be pretty nice since I was planning on doing some work on the car to make it a little better. Plus, I could use what's left as a parts car. Or later on, if I feel like getting the parts, I could get the spare car back to running condition pretty easily. I actually have most of the parts, but i'm real picky on the condition, especially if it's new.
edit: nevermind, he backed out on the deal AFTER I sent the money. Now I gotta find a way to get it back without losing more. Talked to the seller's dad and he now knows the situation. Dad said he'd cash the money order and get a new money order to me. So I hope he pulls through. This's the second time i've had to talk to the parentals.
