If you could start all over with a fresh new Revo what would you get?
Would you get a 3.3 revo or would you go electric?
If you went nitro what would you do different?
Reason i ask is because i have a situation on my hands here and I'm not sure what to do.
I have 4 choices as to which will be my next R/C purchase.
So here are my 4 choices.
A fresh new Revo 3.3 5308 model and upgrade the engine to say a picco red dot or a LRP .28

Second choice would be a Team Associated SC8. And basically use it for just racing.

Third choice would be a Baja 5T. This to me would be the funnest out of all 3 but I'm not sure if i buy it i will be happy.

My 4th choice would be a Brushless E-revo.

So what would you do?:\

The contest is between the 5t and the brushless E revo. Imo they are going to be very close in price if you get a good used 5t and a New revo

Thats pretty much where I am looking towards. Either the ERBE or the 5T
If i get the ERBE i can do some awesome back yard bashing with it. When i am done bashing it i can load it up and carry it too the track and race it.
If i get the 5T I'm pretty much limited to back yard bashing. Sure i could carry it to the track but I would be the only one there. But having that big ol 5T and the way they handle would be nice as well.

But at any rate I want something that is going to last and be pretty darn strong.

I would buy the Revo Platinum and be done with it. The Revo (5308) was my first RC car, so I am quite glad I did buy it over a truggy or buggy. The urge to beat the hell out of it certainly overpowered common sense the first couple weeks of owning it. Considering my Revo barely survived those dark times I know a truggy or buggy would have been a write off. I do however now have a large interest in racing, and a wing kit, centre diff, rear brake, close ratio gear conversion, and sway bar later I would have been better off just investing in the Platinum.
