I just finished assembly on my SS, and I am working out the bugs involved in getting it to run prooperly.
I have run 2 tanks of fuel thru it, but it remains to be a little difficult to start.
My main problem now is, I am unsure of how to set the idling speed. I can't get the engine to run slow enough that the tires do not turn. I have tried adjusting the idle screw on the carb, and slowly stepping down the trim on the throttle, but as soon as I think I am almost there, the engine dies.
Tips?

The clutch shoes are OK- I just rechecked.
