I try to fix the idle so the wheels don't move, but it doesn't work. I unscrew the idle screw, but it won't stop. Any suggestions?

check the throttle trim on your transmitter, if it's set too high it will give the impression of idleing too high.

Is the RPM of the engine going down when you adjust the idle via the screw or is it staying up?

If it's going down, it should stall at some point when it gets too low. If your clutch is still engaged clear down to stalling RPM's, you have a clutch/CB bearing problem. Either the bearings on the CB are fried and dragging, your clutch springs are broken/weak causing the shoes to engage or your shoes need attention due to excessive burrs.

had the exact same problem.......

after ripping my hair out several times and getting know where.....

A experienced lad .........solved it for me.

Richen up your low idle till it idles correct :)

mine runs like a champ and idles like a champ.

Mine has the same problem. The LSN is (as far as I know since OFNA was on crack when they designed the needle) rich, and it still idles up sometimes no matter where the idle screw is set.

It would be easier to tell if the factory setting was flush with the carb, but instead they had to design it to come out of the carb about 3 mm, which not only makes it hard to describe the settings, but also makes it harder to tune.

Id bet your lean!
had same issue with revo........turned it out about 1/4 total.........runs perfect!!

Yes, richening it does help but when it is rich enough to idle right the pinch test has it running really rich. (idles for about 8 seconds before dying with pinch test) I'm pretty sure it has an air leak somewhere in the lines but it's not too bad. After all, idle isn't moving your car so it doesn't affect performance. The overall performance of the engine is awesome.

Now that I have a bottle of CA glue I'm gonna take out the fuel tank and line all the seams with CA.

EDIT: it just occured to me that after I cleaned the air filter it was pretty lean. I'm sure once I buy a motor saver filter it'll be even leaner lol

How could u tell its lean from air filter?
I get same results as u with pinch test.........well not 8 seconds but maybe 4 or 5.
Maybe i got a air leak to.......
Will double check pinch test again though

My filter was really dirty from the track on saturday. I had forgotten to clean it and after I did it went lean because there was so much more air going in. Same as when I buy the MS filter. More air=leaner

Ah ok....
You got me thinking i got a air leak to..

Going to give it a good look over...

Revo is only a few weeks old..........but can't rule out a air leak...

I think mine had a leak out of the box since the stock 3.3 had this problem before I changed it out. New fuel lines and everything didn't help it so I'm thinking it's the tank.

I'll check the LSN and my clutch. I think it is the clutch though, my clutch shoe is worn down, so I guess it was dragging, or I built the clutch wrong again.
