I bought a new jato last week and it runs great but the idle is off. My temps are 215-220 with 25% nitro and my bottom and top end is amazing but after a high speed run it takes my idle about 10 sec to come back down to normal? Is this the result of a bad throttle servo or is the lsn a little to lean? Any help will be muchly appreciated. Also it will idle fine until I hit the throttle thats when it takes like 10 sec to come back down.

first tune the idle. it should idle for hours on end, with NO change. on that engine you can set the idle speed higher than how it comes from the factory, seems to be ok. the temp is a little high, high speed might need it be richer.

Check that your throttle return spring is working. Then make sure that your engine is sealed.

Throttle return spring is good and I sealed the engine before I ever cranked it the first time. It will idle all day but when I hit the gas it does't return to the normal idle for about 10 sec thats what's puzzling me.

You might need a stronger throttle return spring then, that should help close the throttle.

If it idles fine then your hsn is too lean, causing the rpm to "hang" after a high speed run. It may be cool outside wherever you are so take note of that.
