I recently traded for a Rc10gt in here and am having idling problems. 1st of all the start it I have to hold the throttle wide open, and then when I release it it dies. I can drive it around but it always has to be moving to run. I've messed a little bit with the Idle screw (the small one below the tuning needle, I hope its the right one) but havnt had any sucess. Is there anything else it could be that I'm over looking?

Also is anyone knowlegable about the Futaba MS T2PH Controller? All my stuff is opposite (I tend to have this alot on upgraded controllers) but the other ones had a switch that rewversed this and this one doesn't. How can I fix this?

Thanks again for the help guys!!

Andy, the first thing I would check with the truck is to see if the drivetrain is binding up at all. If you have the rear wheels on to tight, it can cause some of the problems like you've mentioned.

Also, I havn't really seen a .12 sized mill that didn't have to have some throttle to start up. this is even true for the truck I traded you for. They just need to be revved to keep them from loading up, and then eventually flaming out. At part throttle and idel, they just tend to fill the block full of fuel.

this one has a HPI .15 in it. Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I just need it to hold a idle so I can put the lid on easily without having to hold the rear end up, the throttle partially open, trying to put the lid on and my cig in my mouth..lol

How are the temps? Maybe lean on the low end.
Also, you might want to change the glow plug.

The temps seem to very between 240 and 270. it was a steady 270 after running it for a good 10 mins. It could be a tuning issue because it seems preatty boggy in the grass but really rips poop up on the gravel. It was pissin me off preatty hardcore so I put it away for the day, and took out the other one..lol.. Ill mess with it tonight or tomorrow. When I cool off..lol (I'm 120 degrees with flames shooting out of my ears)
