I was driving my rs4 3ss today. When I was finished I came in and but everything away, took the lid and the air filter off so I could put in after run oil. Genius me wasn't paying attention and intsead of squirting aro in I squirted Locktite! I pulled the engine apart and cleaned everything, but the carb slide is stuck closed and I cand get it open. I've tried everything to the point right now it is boiling on the stove! :wtf:

LOL.. Sorry but I had too.. Man that sucks!!! If boiling doesn't work, try soaking it in some gas or some carb cleaner. That might work.. Good luck!!

LMFAO Thanks for the That...
How the hell did you not see it was locktite???Drinking? little herb? maybe..lol Very funny indeed

I wish I could say I was drinking, but sadly I wasn't! The bottles were right next to each other and I was kind of occupied at other things and just grabbed the wrong bottle.

Omg that sucks dude!! I'm with Zandor what where you smoking lol :jk: good luck getting it cleaned up at least you where able to get the engine cleaned out it could have been worst!!

yea soak it in carb cleaner or parts cleaner it should unstick but you will prolly have to change the bearings..

Prepertion H
Toothpaste

All I can say is Left hand right hand.

Sorry to hear dude. Let us know what works.
If all else fails I know GoofOff and a tooth brush will work.

LOL jeese! I could just see myself doing that. I would squirt some in and i would be like :OMG: . Did you get it only into the carb? or did it get into the engine? if it got into the engine, most likely, its time for an upgrade :D I HOPE it got into the carb cuz then u could just get a new carb.

got it apart and cleaned! Boiling the carb worked. I also used almost a full can of intake cleaner.I just have to reassemble the engine and try it out.

Sorry to hear about the problem, and glad you were able to fix it.

Some of the new fuels specifically state on the container to not use after run oil because the fuel itself is using a new synthetic oil mixture ... then you can be sure to avoid a similar problem in the future.

I cried after reading that....not because I was sad but because I pissed myself reading laughing so hard.....Glad to hear it worked out and now we all know what to do if we make that mistake....

use the gel locktite next ime
hahaha
