found this on Ebay and am interested its as is the engine runs the engine is a EZ Start TRX 15

can someone tell me what this truck is so i can find parts :D

Do you have a link to the item or other pictures? From this single picture it doesn't look to be in horrible shape minus the need for a new front body post. It also appears to be missing the radio and battery boxes too.

If I was looking to get one, I personally would prefer one of the 2.5 or 3.3 versions of the Tmaxx as the TRX .15 is a pretty old model.

Its definately missing the battery box. And without more pics its hard to tell if the a-arms and bulkheads are in good shape. I personally wouldnt pay any more than $50 for it. If you want a tmaxx look around for a good used 3.3 version that already has the upgraded 3.3 suspension arms and drive train. That way if the engine is shot you can drop in a better engine later without having to sink a ton of uprades into it as well.

ebay also has new traxxas rollers the revo 3.3 is $260.00,slash 4x4 nitro $225.00 if you have a rc thats wore out but all your eletrics,motor,tires.... are good then you can buy it and put all your stuff on it and have a new rig for half the price and have the old one for spare parts.as for buying used rc's off ebay besure to inspect the pics, info really good before you click the buy button.

I have also same truck, and I thought its a T-max but its not. I posted also some picture here before and some guys identify it as SMARTECH and they are correct.

Smartech had one similar to a tmaxx, i think thats what yours is, but the OP has an Original Tmaxx.15

I personally wouldn't for a couple of reasons.

1. The fuel line looks to have electrical tape on it, why wouldn't he replace a $3 part? Makes me think he might have "redneck fixed" other things as well

2. It's a pretty old model, you can get a newer version used for $250-$300 maybe even cheaper. I've even seen better shape savages go for that much.

3. I don't trust anything used unless I can see it and inspect right in front of me. With that said I've seen plenty of used rc's on this forum that I would purchase without seeing.

Thats not electrical tape.....that is a heat shield that come on the fuel line to keep it from coming in direct contact with the cooling head.

I would buy it for 50 bux, no more though as it is old, would be good to put a motor on and beat the balls off of it.
