I won!!!!

I don't know how I did it, but I just found out I won the 2WD mod stadium truck class at my LHS summer points series. I won by a little over 26 points. Even with my parts failure I was still able to turn 11 laps and that was just enough. Woo hoo! I have never won anything like this before. This is so sweet!! Especially because I know I will not be able to race next year much once the baby is born.

Thanks man. It was a tight race all season.. and I thought for sure that when I lost the rear end during the last main of the season that I had lost the points battle... thankfully I was wrong. The winnings are not huge.. it is a GC for the store, and of course the all important bragging rights! LOL

Yeah no doubt!! I so wanted to do that after a race... but we didn't get the final points until today, and my truck was broken after the race on Saturday.... Once the parts are in... I will take her for her victory lap...

Thanks guys. I know it is only a hobby shop win... but it was still a really competitive class and above all I had a blast! The group of guys I race with are second to none, and area always ready to help out. It is what I imagine racing with you guys would be like, if I ever make it to one of the RCNT bashes. One of these days!

Yeah no doubt. I had to beg borrow and steal to get to go to the points races this year. The one good thing is that they were spread out so I wasn't racing every weekend. I had a couple of discussions with the wife about trying to make the points races that were not always nice discussions. So that is where her comment of "You better have won" came from.
