Today was my first day actually driving a nitro truck off road and jumping! I came from a mini-t so I really notice how good the handling is! I went to the local rock quarry where there is a double that is about 6-8 feet, alot of loose gravel, medium sized rocks and kind of sandy terrain. My savage is the .21 so it doesn't have as much power as I would like but it was still a blast!!!!!! I love lauching the truck over the double and spraying roost when I come into a corner wide open! I let my dad take my savage for a spin(his LST has a new engine that we broke in and we are still having trouble getting it running right....) His LST it like twice as fast and has way more power but guess what? I was driving my Savage while he was trying to get his engine running.... It was fun to spend some time with my Dad, we havent had so much fun in forever so RC cars bring the family together. Even though I was calling him a dumb ass when he ran my savage through mud puddles that were high enough to almost submerge the whole truck!(it was on accident because he is new to the controllers...) I am very impressed with the savage durability and handling on ruff terrain(with my 645mg steering servo) Just had to let you guys know how much I am enjoying this new hobby!

That's what it is for! Cool! I just got back from 4 days at the desert and I run my MT's through all the motor cycle tracks and berms they through up just for fun. It is kind of like racing, but you can tear around at will, too.

Spend as much time with your Dad as you can. (Us old dudes enjoy that.)
Glad your having fun. Savage is great. Start looking at the other engines... Run the pee out of the .21. When it breaks or ya get bored with it you'll have decided what to put in it.

Depends on "slightly used", but I say go for it! Run your current mill until it dies then drop that Wasp in there!
That's awesome you and your Father found something in common and enjoy! I'm 36 with two kids of my own, and my Father and I still get out there and tear it up! Keep enjoying it together, man! That's great stuff!
