At first i was against the whole slash craze, i recently moved from washington to Tennessee and a couple of my buddys have them. More and more people around me were getting them, then i finally gave in. I am having a blast with the thing, and it is practically indestructable. My only problem so far is that i have had a motor go out already. I plan on purchasing a valenion system for it just to mess around with.

Dude I so know what you mean. I'm not the type to jump on the band wagon with everyone else either, but I finally decided to get a slash too. This thing is awesome. I've upgraded to brushless and and RPM wheels with geolander tires.

What part of Tenn did you move too? I live in Jackson. It's right on I-40 one hour from Memphis and two hours from Nashville.

I'm in union city about an hour west of you i'd say. Have you been to any of the rc races at the milan city park?

I'm only an hour away from you. There is a new track that is being built that is about 45 minutes away in Mayfield. There is going to be a a few classes made. Its mainly going to be based on who shows up and what not. They are considering a MT class. There is going to be a stock slash class. The only upgrades allowed are changed the shock oil weight and I think you can change the gearing. The name of the Hobby shop is Jackson Purchase hobbies. It may be pretentious of me telling you this because you may already know, but as far as I know that is the only one in this area. If you need any details just pm me and Ill be more then happy to pass it along.

I'm originally from Trezevant, TN. I still have family in Jackson/ Milan/ Attwood. My uncle goes to Bullet Town RC, I'm talking him into picking up a Slash as well.

Glad to see you picked up a Slash and are enjoying it. There is a reason there are so many people that own them, now you know!

Doesn't seem like there are a lot of tracks around here period. I know of bullet town rc they sponsored the last race i was at. I can't believe there is no were to drive, in washington i have a indoor track nitro and electric less that fifteen minutes away
