My stering servo is acting really wierd. I was at the track bashing it kinda hard when all of a sudden it would only turn left. So i though it was broken, but then it was working again. Not as well as before but still working. So i drove it some more and it then it wouldnt turn left again. Then working, then not, then working. When turned off sometimes the wheels turn back and forth with no resistance.

If it is gone would you recomend an Airtronics 94358? I want something good, let me know what you think is a good servo.

Oh yea i also want to do the MP servo saver mod so the servo would have to be compatiable

Thanks

I think its broken. Open it up. I am pretty sure there are a few gears missing some teeth.

as for servos, 358 is a nice high dollar servo, aslong as you got that high dollar to spend.

Reading thru this form everyday I see a lot of people using the Hitec 645 servo. Might want to check it out.

www.servocity.com I beleve is the site to go to.

hey, that same thing happened to my maxx's steering servo. Yeahp, its broke. It really pissed me off because I spent about $80 on a fricken 145oz hi torque servo, and it breaks. It was metal geared too!! Jeez....:whip: by the way, has anyone noticed these smilies are really cool? :n00bie:

Before you trash the servo, check the servo saver, the stock one is crap! Go with a kimbrough, or better yet the mp servo saver mod. If it is the servo I would highly recommend either the Hitek 645mg for about $40, or the digital version the 5645mg at about $55. These are both great servos, both have plenty of torque for monster truck steering servos. I have used the 645s on all my T-Maxxes, and the 5645 on my Savage SS, they have been excellent servos for me.
