You know, yesterday, I was disabling my daytime running lights on my car. It required a little bit of knowledge of working with wires and shtuff. Got the job done, but had to ask my local hardware store how to use what, I knew what to use, just didn't know how to use it.

Anyhoo, I think it'd be good for me to learn more about working with electrical type stuff. So I can better my 1:1 car, and not screw it up in the process. So i've come to the decision that i'm gonna go electric.

I think i'll get a rolling tc3 chassis on eBay. With the instruction manual of course.

I wanna make it into a top speed contender. Get an ESC that can handle the most batteries possible, get the best batteries I can afford, build the pack myself, and get a killer motor.

Now, I know nothing about electrics so it'll get interesting. I guess i'll need to buy a beginner's book or something.

But since i'm a Gemini, it'll never happen. I'll either never buy the stuff cuz I changed my mind, or i'll get the stuff, get bored with the project, and do something else :( Damn it sucks to be me.

I'm staying in nitro. I'm gonna get that mini-t from team losi though. i wanna run it all over my house. :redbuggy:

i had tryed electric as my first r/c car. I HATED IT, i always had to charge batterys and the engines went out faster than nitros do. but that is just my opinion. when i got my t-maxx i never wanted an electric again. BUT i might get me a xxx-t. my bro has one that he has hopped up a little and that little buger flys.

I ran electric from kindergarten tell about 9th grade, and they're cool because they're cleaner without the oils and stuff, but now that i have nitro i don't even look at electrics anymore because i was tired of charging the battery for about 20 minutes and only getting what seemed to be 5-8 minutes or run time, or even less if you had a truck and went off-road. It all depends on personal taist though. My dad never went to nitro because of the noise and gas, and he's just happy with his electric car and truck.

I started with electrics way back in the 80's. It was about all there was available. I am pretty much strictly nitro right now. But I just sold my RC10GT to get capital to buy a Losi Mini-T this fall. I have decided that I need something to screw with through the winter. I will still probably run my Maxx now and again in the snow because it's a blast, but the cleanup is murder. I'm looking forward to getting into some electric work. I just bought an electric plane a few months ago and I love it.

Clean-up? lol, i'm so bad when it comes to cleaning my r/c's. I'm lazy and don't have a good compressor, and it's really just a pain, so you wanna know how I clean my r/c's?

I don't. The most i'll do for a cleaning is run it around in the grass a little. When I went to Tacoma R/C raceway to run my savage a month ago, the savage came back looking like it was ran just in mudd, and you know what, it still looks like that...lol

Whenever I have the option NOT to do something, I utilize my phrase, "it's fine"

But back on subject, i'm a very indecisive person, I buy something when I wanna buy it...that day...so i'm probably gonna buy an XTM x-terminator deluxe if I don't get a mini-t...whichever comes first. But knowing me, i'll probably end up buying a headunit for my car or some poop
