Like I need some scientist to tell me that eating "lips and hooves", not to mention many other "parts" can possibly cause cancer!

Why doesn't the scientific community just issue a blanket statement saying, "Being alive may cause cancer." That way, all that research money spent to study if hot dogs may cause cancer (which, in my opinion, is a no-brainer to begin with) can be used to help me buy another cancer-causing substance....

What the hell are the going to do about it. Sodium nitrite is used widely in the meat processing industry, I know. I work with meat for a living. They might as well tell us not to eat cured meats of any kind. No bacon ever, WTH.

I guess we could all go vegan, and eat tofu burgers. You'll probably live longer, but you'll be bored out of your mind.
