I need Info on the CEN CT4S

I was wondering what people thought about the CEN CT4S. I know they are suppossed to go 70+MPH out of the box, but are they good quality? I am new to the "Sport" Of R/C Racing, so I'm not sure what to look for.

I am currently looking at this auction on ebay Here and It comes with a USED cen ct4s along with a Futaba remote... (also is that remote any good?)

I was wondering if that was a good price, is the CEN evin worth buying, Please Help!

Thanks guys, Its just on the auction it sounds perfect.



The only thing I dont like is the fact that he took out the servos. I emaild him, and he said the reason He took out the servos is because he put in futaba ones, and he was going to sell the futaba remote in a different auction. Then he decided just to include the remote, and doesn't have the time to put the servos back on the car. He also said that he wasn't going to put the original ones back in to begin with, also due to lack of time.


All I would have to do is put the servos in and "take off" since hes already broken-in the moter I'm still not sure wether its a good idea to buy a new one, with a start-up kit, with a new Remote (since i hear the original one is crap). Wich would cost 400+ dollars, or just buy this one for $255.00.

the reason that its not good to buy thing that you can't see in person is that you dont know if hees gotten the piston and sleeve worn out already and how lean hees been running it. in my opinion i would rather spend the money and time to buy a new one.

Wow this guy is great, I emaild him and he IMd me through my aol screen name. He told me he ran it ... Rich always and it took about 7 seconds for a drop of water to evaporate... whatever that means... He also said the main drive belt has a tiny ding in it due to debris hitting it, and thats the only "problem" with it, I asked him about the piston and he said there were no problems with it. He also mention he broke in the engine with the heat cycle methoed, he explained it to me and it sounded good.

I'm going for it, il let you know what happens.

You can get a brand new one for $325. I wouldn't get a used one for the same price.
