hi, new here, first post. i have heard there may be adapters to run newer wheels on the older trucks, my old losi's (jrxt and xxt) use bearings in the wheels and stationary front axles/wheel hubs, rather than like the newer stuff that have the bearings in the wheel hubs, would really like to use some of the newer types of wheels on them, does anybody know of anything like that? also, if anybody has any old jrxt parts they want to unload fairly cheap (on disability so pretty broke most of the time), let me know. never hurts to have extra parts. ebay can be so expensive most of the time. the jrxt was my first rc back in the early 90's, still have it. yeah, I'm that old.

When I did mine before I lost it in a fire, I used this adapter kit: https://www.ideatechproducts.com/shop/p/12mm-hex-wheel-adapter-kit-vintage-losi I had both an original JRXT and an XXXT, and used those on both trucks.

Welcome to the site. @Greywolf74 is the losi nut here. Got any pics? I love vintage stuff.
no, no pics. they are under rebuild currently, got a flat piece of aircraft aluminum to build a flat street chassis for the jrxt, so its apart, and havent finished the xxt. both been in storage for years. only have pics of mine and my sons crawlers is all.

hahaha, wife would kill me. and no, i dont want to get rid of them, actually wish i could find more parts that i can afford, stuff on ebay anymore is just outrageously over priced. only got pics of mine and my boys newer stuff, mostly crawlers. me - 1/10 scale - trx4 high trail '71 blazer converted to a '69 , fms fcx10 blazer. 1/24 scale - scx24 '67 chevy pickup highly modified, fcx24 blazer slightly modified. my boy - 1/10 scale trx4 '79 blazer, traxxas slash. 1/12 scale rochobby vw bug. 1/18 scale losi gravedigger. 1/24 scale - scx24 '67 chevy pickup different color, fms fcx24 blazer. the old losi's are apart for rebuild right now. oh, he also has a 4ft long 3 axle trailer that can haul up to 3 trucks. i also have a lifted traxxas 1/18 scale trailer i pull with my scx24, the pic is with the short lift kit, i have one ordered with twice the lift. thats my scx24 all flexed out, portals, 4 wheel steer, flex blades top and bottom, frame and body are the only original parts left in it.

With so many trucks, she'd never notice! 🤣
Thats a fine looking collection you've got going there!
Ebay can be tricky to buy on for certain! Vintage stuff is $$$!!!

I used to buy vintage and discontinued SCT's, but, after awhile, they just got way, way too pricey. I still have an original V2 Arrma Fury, and I'm eyeing a V1 I saw on eBay, but those are the only vintage trucks I bother with any more. A couple years ago, I had a Racers Edge Pro2 and Team C TS2, (same truck, just different names), an HPI Blitz, several original 2WD Arrma's, and a Losi XXXT, and, my monthly expenses just to keep them running was about twice what most new trucks were costing.

i have had these since they were new, back in the 90's, jrxt was first, 5 link is great for rough terrain, flexes better than H arms, then the xxt, used it for fast ovals

got my new adapter kit, guess i gotta get to putting one of them back together.

put a lift kit on my little trailer, went out and cut some branches off a bush and made a load of firewood for it. laid wax paper in the trailer and glued the wood together as a lump so it dont fall out when you pull it over rough terrain.
