Hey guys , have any of you built a homemade jump , and if so could you post it up i would like to get an idea of how to start to build one ,

thanks
nick.

I'm having a hard time getting this site to load...but supposedly, they have free ramp plans for skaters. If they work for skaters...they work for RCs.

If the site doesn't load for you...try googling homemade skateboard or skate ramp plans.

Here's the link for the one I found searching RCNT...CLICK HERE

Here's a pic of one of a pair that I made. The sides are 3/4" ply cut with a curve. The top is 1/4" ply so it can be gently bent to shape. I also used a couple pieces of 1"x1" across the inside to support the top and sides.

thats exactly what i am looking for , should be able to get a fair amout of air with that one right? i want my revo to do some more backflips, and just get some sweet air.

That'll work well. And you can scale it any way you want. On that one, the base is 36" and the height is 24". If you want it bigger, it's as easy as expanding the dimensions.
One tip when cutting the sides. Clamp the 2 pieces of ply together when cutting the curve. That way both pieces will have identical curve when you're done.

good idea , considrering I'm not much of a handy man yet , but I'm sure i'll get it done right, my father in law has all the pieces i need or close to anyway.

what you could do is make a skateboarding quarter pipe. PERFECTO for backflips, its what i landed my first one on...
