ok i was driving my truck in the snow this past weekend and i must have got snow in my steering servo, becuase now it does not work, i would just want to upgrade my whole radio system to a better one, which one do u guys think is the best?
:radio: i want the whole deal readio reciever, servos, etc..

my second question is i dont have any money right now to buy anything, so i can't drive my car for at least a couple of months, how should i store my truck without damaging it? :read:
 
I would suggest the 75MHz version of the JR XS3. It is a very nice FM radio and it is synthnized also. No more dealing with crystals!

I would put a couple of drops of ARO into the carb and into the glow plug area and turn it over a few times. This will prevent any rust from building up.
 
does it come with the reciever too if not what one do u think is good for that kind of radio? aslo do i need cytrals, i was reading it and it says no more hasseling with cystrals?
 
You can get the unit from Horizon Hobby. It comes with receiver and two servos. No you don't need crystals. That is the beauty of going to a synthized radio. You have 30 channels to choose from all with the turn of a screw driver. :)
 
I second the notion of the XS3. It's a great radio and man it feels good in my hand. I am running it on my savage and love it. Just need a couple of receivers and I will have them for all three cars. It's a little pricey but well worth it. I definitely recommend it.
 
i need a cheap servo, i want to get a whole new radio system but i dont have the money and all i need is a cheap servo, where might i get the cheapest one??
 
What kind of servo ya lookin for. I have a couple layin around I could sell ya cheep. PM me if interested. A couple of them are even brand new.
 
I have two Savages and two JR XS3 radios. This way I can lend it to someone else if they want to bash around. My buddies love it. First thing I tell them is "If you break it you pay" LOL
