After much thought and research, my wife and I have decided to get a puppy. After the loss of our dog, there has been a void that needs filling.
Below is a pic of a rare Boston Terrier. She is brown (red) and white, with green eyes.
If all goes well, we will have her in our possesion in a couple of weeks (she has to be shipped from MO to NYC).
She should be 13 pounds as an adult.

Wish me luck.

Thats cool man. I know what your talking about with the empty void. 3 years later it still feels weird walking outside and not having my black lab come to greet me. Something that makes me think about him everyday. Youll like a Boston terrier. There good dogs and are smart. We have a Rat terrier, (Looks like wishbone) which is really smart but has some energy. (which we like most the time..lol). I know your kids will like it!

Good choice. Smart dog and the small size makes for a good house dog.

We honestly concidered a rat or jack. The high energy part might have been a bit much. Bostons love to play and sleep, so it might be the perfect combo.

When we were going over our dog options I thought about a Jack Russell, too. For about one minute, after I did a little Google research on them! Too hyper!

Ratzo, I forgot, what was your last dog? I thought it was a Lab. Big change if it was; this one will be a whole different game! Good luck. Give him/her lots of love! (I know you will)

She looks just like you!

Those eyes look almost human - creepy. Otherwise, a cool lookin little dog. Kinda puts me in the mind of that one guy in all those Mel Brooks movies.

Marty Feldman...

That's the dude! I can't recall a movie offhand... I dunno if he was in Blazing Saddles or History of the World (been a while since I've watched that... wonder if that part two teaser was real or a gag?)

Young Frankenstein!

"My, what big knockers you have! "

"Why, thank you!"

Sounds just like you! lol..

Kinda has eyes like a pug! What a cute dog.

Boston Terriers are neat. Our neighbors have one. Very friendly dog. She loves people.

They are pretty small. Their English Bulldog puppy was kind of bullying the Boston, untill he (Bulldog) grew up a bit.

I know what you mean about the void. I still miss our Golden Retriever. Having our current dog has really helped with the hurt.

Love the dog but can't stand all the shedding they do.
From all that I have read, they don't shed much.
Did you ever have one??
