Why are the illegal to have?

They breed like rats and eat other birds food supplies.....they are getting to be an issue to the older people here because they stay in flocks and make some serious noise while flying......there is a flock near my mom's old house of about 100.....we'd see em eating or being eaten (depends on the size of the critter) by the iguanas on the canal....but they make one crazy sound when they get angry.....

if it has a tag on his leg you might be able to track the owner....does he have one?
sucks to have a domesticated animal destroyed like that.....

I'm working on tracking down the owner now, but the tag is worn and what I got off it is leading me no where. But I did find a lost ad for one in the orange area.

I have one of those. its is pretty cool, if you do keep it then i recomend leaving it in a room with the radio on, it will pick up new words and maybe even parts to a song. the are very fun, but can become annoying.

I found the owner... and she insisted I take a reward of $100. I refused 3 times but she insisted.

So Zandor how much would you have given me to let you pop it with a framing hammer? jk

Glad it turned out for the better... And hey, ya got $100 - that's some fuel and glowplugs for nada! Too bad you couldn't have taught it some 'suggestive phrases' while in your custody... That way, you wouldn't feel bad about taking the money.

Well the more I thought about it......I felt bad about the framing hammer........

I probably would have let it go in a small room and thrown three cats in there....

more humane ya know..

Food chain and all!

My three cats already had a go at it. Although ones on it's last legs of life, the other is a fat ass with no claws, and the 3rd is normal. So I guess it would only be 1 on 1.:ponder2:

YOu could always let it out back and have a skeet competition... PULL! BOOM!

I'm pretty close to 100%, that it "IS" a Quaker.
My dad breeded birds, and I'm pretty sure.

Sumo, all of us have a soft spot for our pets.
Glad you found the owner. I figure a lot of us would give more than $100 to get our pet back. That was a hell of a good deed. Take the money and put it on something you want. You earned it.
