are there anything i should look out for or tips? Also should i use blue or red loctite on the metal to metal pieces??

blue loctite allways...red you will never get you screws out...other than that i no nothing about your buggy...nice choses though

youll love the 777sp1 most of our kyosho guys have already gone to them and ffrom what i seen they are pretty hot little buggies, definately kyoshos best buggy to date awesome turning and handling will keep you out in front!!!!!!

Nice

iam confused? the kit came with three types of oils? is it for the diff? There is 4000, 1000, and lsd oil? I picked up 7,000, 5,000 for the front and center, so could i use the 1,000 as the rear diff oil?

the 1000 wt# is good for the rear..what the hell is lsd oil???? hey put a drop in your eye and come back in an hour and tell what your seeing
if you can find your way back here

lol, maybe i will, yea when i was reading the intructions it said, to use the lsd oil? ITS RED?? for the front diff.

lsd oil must be used in the lsd diff. its also been found to be suspiciously similar to a specific brand of automatic tranny fluid, i forget which one though. use your std. oils in the center and rear diffs.

well i just got done with the center diff, have to take apart the front diff, the intructions did not say there are two types of gears, jsut figure it out when the last gears did not fit on the bracket.

I am confused on putting the rear gearbox together? It says i need to shim the side of the diff. with a thin and thick shim. Do i put the gear box together and then shim it or do i shim and put the gear box on?

does anybody know what iam talking about? It says to shimmer the rear diff on the two sides?? but do i put the gear box on first or no???

I'm in the middle of the build on my k3,got a sweet deal on it sense the 777 came out.anyway the lsd oil is for the limited slip diff in the front.as far as shimming the fr and rear diffs you will add shims then put the diff in the case, youll find if you add to much all shims wont slide in place next to the bearings in there groove.i think mine took two thick for the rear (when i tried adding two smalls along with the two thick only 1 would slide in so i figured it was too much) and the front ended up with 4 thins.i asked about this in my k3 build thread and was told to get zero backlash so i went as tight as i could without forcing any shims in place.

Thanks, adding the two large shims in the back WORKED!!

Hey man, you going to fire that thing up this winter or let her sit till the snow is gone?? I'm not sure if I'm even going to break in my motor till summer? Its going to be hard just letting it sit there in front of me though---May have to get the wife to hide it

probably wont run it till spring unless we get one of those 50 deg warm spells with the 70mph winds that dries everything up.i live in palmer and that seems to happen 2 or 3 times a winter so its a pretty safe bet.i should be at a stoping point in a day or too, almost to the step of installing the motor.I'm going to use the os v-spec but I've got to decide what to do for a radio and servos  any suggestions? all i have now is a jag am (sons)and a jr2 with two model memory and i know itll work with good servos but i may go fm.

i just got the jr xs3 pro radio and going to be getting (2) jr racing z650 high torque servos once I can afford it. Breakin2 I believe just using the screws that came with the buggy is fine, i never heard anybody having problems with them.
