FRIDGE - You know when this all started happening the first thing that I thought about was your thread and how the timing couldn't have been better...made me laugh.

Anyways on to what happened - no this obviously was not a planned downtime, but in fact an essential OC-48 line was cut at an MCI building in Northern Virginia. In other words our server lost ALL connection to the outside world, thus RCNT was down. All is better for now and there are guys working on the problem to help ensure it doesn't happen again.

What happened Diver?

HAHAHAHAHA, what's funny is that I've done that.

Gout is a condition where the body can't metabolize purine which is a major makeup of Uric acid. When the body can't process uric acid, it forms crystals which deposits itself in your joints. The area becomes inflamed and tender to the touch. When you try to use it, it feels like shards of glass inside your joints. It can deposit anywhere in the body. For me, it's either in the feet/ankles or in my knee (either one).

When this happens, I'm bed ridden for at least a week. Actually crawl to get to the bathroom.

Gout is not contagious, mostly genetic. I got it on both sides of the family so I'm screwed twice.
