I was out to a local construction site and I had a little fun.
Here is the aftermath.

Nice and Dirty!!

Cloe up of the bumper. One screw popped after rolling it several times testing the newly installed HPI dual disk Brakes.

The rear. Notice the damage I'm taking to the engine head. I need a rollbar.

The following three pics show what happens when you land upside down twice from about ten feet in a parking lot.

Those are the 2 zipties left after the two others were ripped off during some rollovers. They are supposed to help protect the head.

hey you gotta put more than 4 zip ties on you head take my head for example. Nice picks darth

i have no luck with zip ties..they get ripped off almost instantly and i still have my engine head all smashed up. BTW darth you would hate all my engine heads...yours still looks great! hehe. BTW..i notice you run rpm claws on your truck...the claws i have on my savage are all cracked along the wheel portion, and any day they look like theyll fall apart. how are they holding up for you? BTW those tires look bad-ass, makes it look 1:1.

Good job on that roll bar. I haven't bent mine yet. I haven't gotten brave enough to try flipping on purpose...

I have those tires on my sav as well. I really like them, but they don't hook up real well on hard packed surface.

The RPM Clawz are holding up VERY nice for me. I punish them hard.
The tires are IMEX J-Hawgs hard compound.

I noticed the same problem on hard pack. I like them because they are a good mix for running on and off-road. I do have a set of ProLine Mulchers on T-Maxx wheels for strictly off-road use.

 Looks like you had a blast!!

The new still hasn't wore off of mine to abuse it, :devious: yet. I have found a good hill climb (150, 200 ft?). They had been climbing it with 4 wheelers. Had a hell of a time last weekend. Savage climbs it great, kind of a challange keeping it out of the ruts. Going to try to get some video this weekend.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to bend the rollbar back. :D I bent it up good before but this time it's more difficult. I just don't want to spend $15 on a new one just to bust it up.

damn thats bent to hell you must of had a blast,i get crazy like that when I'm with all my friends bashing, but when i play alone i kinda go easy!!! i love to put on a show!!

While we're on the subject of rollbars, does anyone know how strong the one by New Era is?

i prefer to use the bigger zip ties, they hold up quite a bit better.

I can only speak of the one for the maxx... it's the best damn upgrade I have ever bought... A close second is rc-solutions spring steel skids, but they don't make skids for the save.

Bomber has one as well and he doesn't care how much air he gets. The guy is ruthless. 10 feet of air WOT with a 26 maxx and lands on the top... roll bar is scratched, but otherwise unscathed.

i also have the NE roll bar for my maxx and its great holds up great it scratched all to hell from running no lids on and off-road i broke the body mounts on the maxx months ago and never replaced them. LOL!

I wish the New Era bar offered engine protection, because that is really what I'm after. If I don't learn how to jump soon I'll end up breaking my engine for sure.

looks like you had a blast dude. hope you bend that rollbar back soon so you can get back riding!
