I got suspended from school today

yea i got "beat up by a girl once"

10th grade:
i threwa snowball at lexus and she flippedo ut and i took off across the street and i saw the bus coming so i was gonna stop and run backwards and turn around and run right? well when i stopped to start running backwards she jumped on my back and hit me in my face and my nose started bleeding and crap infront of like the enire bus and bus stop. if i had known the consequences of NOT hitting her back, i woulda have beat the living fiddlesticks out of her.


tracy and me.. man oh man. friends but enemies? i dunno i used to be THIN and i could fly around u in a fight. anyways in elementry sk00l we fought ALL the time but we were friends. so one day in gym i was like if some one gives me 10 bucks ill go beat tracy up again. and someone said ok and so i went and beat him up. another time i had just walked in the doors to school and tracy was there so i beat him up. hmmm... yep. i wouldnt mess with tracy now. I'm fat (i could still kick your ass) and hes big and tuff. :trashed: :trashed: :trashed: :trashed:

Schools have really gotten bad around here lately.My last year in school we had 1 security guard.Now the school has video cams in each hall,the cafateria,gym,audatorium,and the pool area.They also have done away with the 1 security guard in favor of 2 local PD officers and added metal detectors at each entrance with a guard!I'm glad I got outta their before I had to deal with all that!

I'm not going to spend much time on this, but. if u get into a fight in school - u should be arrested for assult, prosecuted, and expelled. fighting is wrong, no matter what. u should be extremely dissapointed, not proud. the only reason u should be going to school is to learn. i know that isnt waht u want to hear - but the more time u spend now studying, the more time u will have to play, once u grow up.

all i wanted to do was surf during high school, but luckily i had good parents, that helped me buckle down, and get good grades?

what good did it do?

I went to college for free, in hawaii
i have a great job
i own my house
i own a second house with property on a lake
i can afford nice things
i am happy
i have travelled the world

trust me - by not having as much fun as a teenager, i am now able to enjoy my life, instead of working at burger king for minimum wage.

Well... you need to have some fun too while you are sitting in school and study your ass off. You're only young once. But i do have to agree with you, fighting is stupid in general, no matter on what ground. If you are smart enough you try to avoid confrontation, since it doesn't resolve anything. It only causes problems. Exception here of course is self-defense as the absolut last resort. Only idiots who don't have the brains to outsmart others start fights, since they have draw their "power" from beating up others. Simple as that.

school shouldnt be fun. it isnt a daycare. it is a place to get an education. Already, school lacks similarities to everyday life as an adult. What job lets u work from 8-3 and get 3 months off?

Personally - i think school should last until 5pm, and be year round, until 10th grade, where upon it should lax a bit in order to allow for temp employment, and a better understanding of the work force.

The saying - u r only young once is a joke. You should spend those 18 years investing in the next 60 years that will be your life.

I personally would much rather buckle down and not have fun for a short period in order to better enjoy the next 80% of my lifetime.

Well.. its all valid points... but you can't cram knowledge into your head for 8 hours straight... its impossible.

You need to have something in between to relieve some stress and tension. Young kids should enjoy their school time. Kids learn faster and quicker when they have fun. Forced studying is no good. You might learn something throught the forced method, but not as much as if you have fun doing it.

Because the thing is, you won't be having the time to have any fun as soon as you start a job, a house, create a family etc etc etc.
I do make good money but i just ain't got the time to work on my RC car for poop... its sitting now in the basement since weeks with a broken flywheel and i just don't have the time to fix it.

The other thing is, after your school is over, it isn't really over. If you want to stay competitive in the job market you need to continue your education. Bachelors in todays world ain't worth poop. Masters is the least you need to achive if you want to get into the higher paid regions. MBA of course is preferred. So now your sitting in school again in the evening, having no time to have fun since you have to work AND go to school AND study AND maybe take care of your kids at home AND please the partner maybe once a year or so.

I do agree with you on many points, but this is a point i have to disagree on that you shouldn't have any fun while being in school.

I went to college while in the military. I would go to work (military duty) from 7 - 4, then go to class from 6-10, then study for several hours. I did this for 4 years.

Also - for my linguistics training in the military. I went to the Naval Linguistics Lab in Montery CA for 54 weeks. School started at 7am, was over at 7pm, plus 4 hours of study class and homework. Then i had to perform my military duties for 24 hours straight without sleep every 4 days.

I have been out of the active military now for going on 6 years, and i can still speak all 4 languages they taught me. so u can learn, probably better, when forced to.

Thats almost an inhuman achivement... but i guess it does reassures the term 'Sleep is for the weak', eh?

You actually can have a fluent conversation with a japanese? If so, i'm really impressed. Japanase is one of the most difficult languages as far as i know.

Turkish... hehe cool I know some turkish swear words, since 50% of my classmates back in germany were from turkey

I’d have cleaned his clock! Yes, we all know that we are not supposed to fight but if a bully confronts you, well I would have done the same. I’ll tell you a little story and try not to bore you.

My oldest son back about '88 come to find out was having a little trouble with a couple of the boys at school. He finally admitted to me that each day they were ganging up on him and taking his lunch money away from him. I think that it had been going on a week or two. Needless to say I was pretty upset. I thought about it for a day and although I do not condone violence and to tell the school would have put him in a very awkward position with his peers. For me to teach him self-defense well I didn’t feel it should come from me. I decided to let him spend a little time with one of my good friends that just happened to be the California reigning middleweight amateur boxing champ. He (I won’t say names) spent a little time with him and mentioned to me that he felt he could hold his own. I did ask him about 6 months later if he was still having any trouble he and he just smiled and said no dad I took care of them both.

If we used to have to fight we would always meet at the park after school to settle our differences. That was many years ago and I’m not sure that anyone could get away with that now.

I was raised to stand up for myself. Do not turn tail and run the other way. Do not pick on people and always help the disadvantaged.

Defending yourself is one thing;while starting the fight is not acceptable.If he started than he deserved what he got.When I was in school who ever started the fight was suspended reguardless of the outcome.Now a days you get fined and everyone gets suspended.Everyone is so up in arms about school safetey they all forget what school is really like.You can't put that many people together witch such a diversity of race and age and expect them to get along all the time.I realize they are trying to prevent serios problem like shootings and things of that nature.If some of these parents would take a closer look at their children instead of the system than it would simplify things a bit.When I was 10-14 the school wouldn't even give me detention.They would contact my mother and she dealt with me!I could never get away with doing anything wrong because my mom would smack the poop out of me if I got in trouble.Not only that but she would ground me with no videos games or tv or phone.I would basicaly have to sit in my room for a few days and read.I see the way some of my frinds treat their parents and I can't beleive they are still walking.My mom would've knocked me out if I spoke to her the way my freinds do.My moms not a big women either.Shes only about 5.2 115 lbs LOL!!!I guess that time is gone now though.Now if a parent disciplines their child they get sued and child services takes you away.Their used to be a line between discipline and abuse but not anymore.
