The Sonic Wake has an 8S ESC but a 6S motor. I crashed at 65. I’ve gotten 68 with propping up. Now I have twice as wide trim tabs. Hard to dial in. But she can run 8S for a few rips. I’m going to thrown my 11200 mah 4S SMC LiHv batteries for its first glass, no wind run. PB? 70 or above. It’s a ripper. No sound effects @WickedFog

That should sound awesome. I bought my kid a small 14" 3s brushless boat, and the sound that little guy makes is so cool.

What kv is that motor?
 
So at max charge on 8s it will be turning 63,840. That's pretty high. The water cooling should help it keep it's cool though. I would make sure to temp it right after you make the first pull. But if you succeed, that is gonna be nuts!
