I crashed and something broke off but not completly

Well I was driveing my car upand down the block kinda went too fast and my brakes suck so I made a sudden turn to the left so the ball and cup joint that connects the body post linkset to the front upright set came off. I managed to put it back but now the part the links into the ball is scratched on the side so now its easy to come off (with enough force) but not when i regularly drive ever since that my cars steerings been hard to ajust any thoughts?

Those parts are fairly inexpensive. You should be able to replace them for under ten bucks.
