To me, the price of the Ps3 is a lot better than the Wii and the Xbox 360. It has everything that you need to have a great gaming experience, and more. I've seen Blu-Ray systems more expensive than the Ps3.
It is strange that they stopped making the backwards compatible Ps3 but, once you have played the games, with such great graphics, you will NEVER go back to playing a Ps2.

As of now there are very few decent games for the PS3 and the PS2 has several hundred games to choose from. Not being able to play PS2 games, in my opinion, has crippled the system.
