Hyper 7 low speed needle

Hi people sorry to keep writing posts but struggling with my ex race tuned hyper 7 and just wondering how far in I have to screw the low speed needle to get the low speed needle to stay at 1mm as I can screw the screw all the way in and out and dosent move the slide??

The low speed needle has nothing to do with the idle gap. turn the idle adjustment screw.
You have a 3 needle carb
high= sticks strait up =read engine manual for setting
low = on side of throttle arm = read engine manual
mid= opposite side=read engine manual should be flush Don't touch
idle= on rotary carb side or opposite slide carb= open carb gap 1mm
