Okay guys, I have a question for you concerning my Hyper 21.

I bought the motor used for my Kyosho MP 7.5 and put it in after I grenaded my rod bearing in my GS motor. Well, i bought the lowered motor mounts for it but it was put on a sport chassis that dos not have the groove to accomidate the lowered mounts. Up until I found out that the clutch bell had been rubbing the chassis, I couldnt get it to tune right on the low end. I did some asking around about helping out the lowend and everyone said the ofna 063 pipe.

Now that I have figured out where my low end is going and have since fixed the problem, I was wondering if the 086 pipe is the best pipe for that engine? Or maybe even the 053.

My racin buddy said that he talked to a guy that said all his friends were running 086 pipes on thier 8 ports and they ran really good. I thought the 8 port was known for it's high RPM range power and therefore lacked some lowend? That's why I have been partly looking for a 063 pipe.

Can you guys give me some ideas on what the best pipe is for that application? Thanks alot guys.

The 063 is pretty much all I've heard several times for the 8-port. I just picked one up last night but I'm still breaking in the engine so I can't really tell you a difference from it.
I was stuck between the THS 1/8 offroad pipe, and the 063. After a few minutes of side by side comparisons and comparing the polishing and everything the THS definately looks to be the better quality pipe, but I went with the 063 cause it was cheaper. The THS looks t o be more of a low-end pipe, it's a little bit shorter.

Gil...Thanks for the info and I have seen the THS pipe also and have read that it is comparable to the OFNA and RB.

I went ahead and purchased the OFNA 063 pipe and I am going to buy a Waller power adapter for it soon. I read on S-Grid that those things give a noticable difference in Lowend and even help out in the mid and high range.
