A humpback is a whale....I really don't know how you're gonna charge a whale, but good luck!

LOL!!! o crap i forgot the link! hang on.

hahaha smart ass i fixed it

uhhh....no you didn't....

and it'll work w/ an adapter, make sure you don't charge it at more than one amp, and it's prophet plus charger...

What Do You Mean I Didnt Fix It? I Put The Link On There. Thats What I Was Missing.

I mean, it still says "HumpBack" which is a whale, "HumpPack" is the battery config. you are reffering to.

oh i see. I Will fix That Thanks cvec.

there i fixed it for real now. next problem will be it doesn't have a space. lol

what would happen if it put it more than 1 amp? i charge my 1800 at 4 amps. is it bad. or does it not charge as well or what?

It can ruin it over time, regular batts r fine to do more than 1 amp, like the type of cells you use in your rotostart. (The exact name of the type of cells escapes my mind at the moment)

No, the batt cells traditionally in rx packs are different from the ones in your rotostart/main batt in eletrics. The # of cells doesn't really have anything to do w/ the amp rate they should be charged at.

I believe the starter pack cells are "sub-c" and the receiver pack cells are "2/3 A". The sub-c cells can handle more current to charge than the smaller 2/3 A type cells which is why you want to use a lower current range on it.

The smaller cells in a receiver pack have less surface area inside to dissipate the current fast enough. Over time, they will probably fry, leak or explode on you.

The number of cells tells you how much voltage. The size and chemical makeup (NiMH, NiCad) tell you the type of charger you need. Typically, NiMH batts have a higher Mah rating the their NiCad counterparts.

This is a 2/3A battery:

This is a sub-c Battery:

You can find these ate www.batteryspace.com and build your own packs. Also www.onlybatterypacks.com sells receiver packs for RC's as well.

cool. but the battery pack i want and my dynamite charger will be okay? Cuz I'm Bout To Order Em..

yea you just need a plug converter.. that goes from the larger white plug to one that is a bit smaller..

For about the third time, yes, you just need an adapter. Your prophet plus came w/ it, but whether or not you still have it is another story...
