I used a similar gun for the first time helping a friend with an art project a few years back. The cheap ones from Harbor Freight are surprisingly easy to use. Although my previous airbrush experience surely helped.

That's what it is. HF spray gun, 30 bucks even came with a reg. I have used these types before. For the 1 job it has I am sure it will do just fine.

New project officially acquired. Just like the last 1, you guys will specialize in waiting for pics till it's done.

That body came out AWESOME!!! 🤯😎👍
I like the TT body too.
I haven't tried an air brush yet but I really want to give it a go!

Your tat history shows in the rose. Thats a cool design! I like the decals too!
Thanks Mike!! I can see me doing a lot of this airbrushing thing. Am sitting here working out my next project with the morning caffeine.
If you have the interest, definitely give it a shot. Start with stuff in your comfort zone. In the tat2 game there are certain things that stand out. You should be able to draw a rose and a skull with the same level of practice as tying your shoes. Makes it a great test subject for any new medium for me.

What liquid mask is everyone using? Am working my way through a bottle of spaz Stix stuff. It works, wouldn't mind trying out some other options at some point.

I bought a big bottle of Proline stuff. Just because that's what my local track had in stock. It's fine, don't overthink it. It's just liquid latex. You can buy it by the gallon at the theater supply store in any color you want!

2nd body is coming along. As satisfying as it will be to peel the outer protective layer in a couple more days....it might even be more exciting to peel the large sheet of liquid mask on the inside once the design is finished on something. For doing the whole body this spray method with the liquid mask is awesome. With my .8 tip spray gun, 3 coats was perfect.
