I bought my son a slash 4x4 for Xmas. I ordered a HRB 5000 ah 11.1v battery set for it. When I attach it to the ez leak charger it won’t enter manual mode. The green lights will only turn on if I don’t have the balance cord plugged in. Is the battery a dud or am I missing something?

What is the voltage of each cell?

So the voltage is 2v in each cell.
That's dead, you need to discharge it and dispose of it ASAP. The lowest voltage a LiPo should go is 3.0v per cell.

You need to read and watch vids on LiPo care. Never let a LiPo go below 3v/cell. The ESC in your vehicle should have a low voltage cuttoff that shuts the car down once it gets to a specific voltage. I typically set mine at 3.6v or so. Read the manual for your RC on how to set this.

I regularly save cells that have dropped to 2V or less using a low current NiMH program to get them started.
But that's not something I would recommend to a newbie.
