I don't know if many of you know this, but HPI has a Engine exchange. If you do know about it, do you know if they exchange the old HPI 15fe for the new motors??

I e-mailed them and have yet to get a reply, I'm sure they have a million questions to get back to.

I just wanted to see if anyone on here knew anything about it.

Any HPI engine, regardless of age or condition, they will exchange for a brand new engine in the same class (small block for small block, BB->BB, gas->gas).

I jokingly asked "what if it was flattened by a jackhammer?" and they didn't bat an eye. Any condition.

Awsome, hope there isn't a limit on how many you can do. I'm going to just get the g3.0 for a basher motor.

No limit that I'm aware of. I did 4 at once recently.

Well it said my motor was $65 plus shopping there and back. I can buy one at my lhs for $90 so would I save any money?
