I Recently put a 2 speed from HPI and tried tuning the idle needle. But the car keeps stalling and after an adjustment it it takes off and once I let off the gas it cuts off. Anyone have a solution?

First off, we need to know what engine you're running. That can tell us a lot. We'll go from there...

agreed with candyman - which mill? also - u say idle needle. do u mean the idle set scre, or the low speed needle valve?

.15FE engine, not the low speed but the idle set screw

have u removed the air filter, and looked at the carb? Make sure that when u let off the throttle/apply the brake, that the carb does not close fully, yet stays open about 1mm. Does it do this? If it closes fully, then that is your problem.

The 15FE is a near bullet proof engine,I've got one thats 4yrs. old with alot and i mean alot of abuse. it was on my first nitro that i bought used and when i was new to nitro i didnt now a thing about them so you can imagine how much torture i put that poor engine threw.any way mine started doing that and my LHS told me i needed a new engine, turns out they just wanted to sell a new engine.mine did the same thing right after i added a 2speed,when i put my 2 speed clutchbell on i put a extra washer behind the skrew that holds it on the crank and mine would run until i gased itthen it would bind up
