Hpi sb-5 servo?

Good/Bad or somewhere in the middle?

Was wondering if the HPI SB-5 MG servo is any good, looks like it has ok numbers to it but that doesn't mean squat if it don't hold or center for nothing.

If you have had one was it worth it or was it just another stock junker?

I'd just replace it and save it as a spare.

Was lookin at them for $21 each new and I need 3 of them + another $120 worth of parts so I was looking to save a little if they are decent servos.

I figured if they were a good servo I could save some coin.:shrug:
Cash is tight & trying to get the most bang for my buck.

Steering servo for some T maxxes.

Supposed to be 163oz-in/0.09@6v

They'll work, but for bigger tires you really want to have a stronger servo.
