Hi all
I've just brought a savage xl of a friend and after going out for the first time I stripped the clutch bell, after fitting a new clutch bell I can tell that the spur gear is running right on the edge of the clutch bell(engine side) also when I spin the spur gear it wobbles as its bent but when I've took it of it proves not to be as anybody else had this problem or anyone no of any solutions Thanks
 
As for the Spur Gear I just bought the Savage X4.6 and it does wobble. I watched the video about adjusting the gear mesh in the thread about what to do before running a RTR car and even in the video is shows the Spur gear with a wobble so I figured this must be common.
I am surprised the clutch bell being steel would strip before the spur gear which is plastic.

Sorry I forgot to mention that the spur gear was upgraded to an heavy duty metal 1, I am looking to change this to a plastic one when I've sorted out the positioning Thanls
