What is the best tuned pipe out there for the Savage 4.6 motor? I would like to try something other then the original tuned pipe that is polished.
Is there one out there that will give us better performance without killing the wallet?:D

IMO the polished pipe is the best bang for the buck. 20 bucks and great power. I had to start tapping the fly wheel to shut it off because the stinger gets hot as hell.

Well, I'm a "budget basher" and I tend to run what I see work. I was running the HPI polished on my LRP28S3 in my aftershock and it ran ok. Loud, ran a bit warm and a muddy mid-range. Then I gave my buddies losi HT pipe a whirl and it became a whole new engine. Plenty of power down low, mid-range cleared up for the most part and even top end felt stronger. About 1/2 as loud too.

Can usually find one on ebay for around 20-25 shipped. It's the stock pipe on the LST2/XXL.
