Hi. Please let me know some tips for to start the engine (big Block) of my new HPI savage. I just finish to assambly the kit, but has been impossible to start the new engine. I am using the engine setup from factory.

I have other nitro cars that starts at first try.

Please give me some tips.

Regards

fresh engines have tight sleeves before breakin, and with it being winter, it makes it even colder/ tighter
take a heat gun or hair dryer and heat the head(cooling fins) for the engine, and it should start right up, you may have to leave the glow heater on a bit longer than usual also since its colder out
check your carb and make sure its not fully closed and not to open, should be about 1mm opening if i remember correctly.

X2, good advice.
Heat is your friend, warm her up first. Prime it by blowing into the pressure line, then reattach it to the pipe. Slightly loosen the glow plug and then fire it up. Otherwise you'll be buying a one way bearing real soon.
