HPI rush evo VS. HPI mt 2

Hey I have an onroad car now and I was thinking about getting into some dirt track racing with my friends. We made a dirt track with some small jumps and such.

I needed to know what one ^^^^^ would be better for doing so. If you wouldn't recommend either what would you suggest. I wanted a RTR that is right around $350 or below.

P.S. My friend has a traxxas rustler and I wanted to get something that I can beat his butt with.:hamster:

How do you want to spank him???
speed or handling???

if it's on a track I would go for handling,
almost any Stadium will spank The "brick"
(rustler) in handling. outo f the two you suggested it depends on what you want
if your going to bash in areas where you would need 4wd I would go with the MT 2 if you are going to stay on your track and in short grass etc.. I would go for the rush being it's 2wd etc.
If you want real durability I would steer you towards the AE RC10GT it is a tough little truck I can attest to that (My cousin ricer55 has one and He regularly takes it off 5ft jumps and very rarely lands well)

Plus they are usually around $265 with everything but fuel and batteries.

and as for speed I don't think anything will beat the rustler (2.5 rustler, The pro .15 I think would get spanked but I'm not sure) but you will get about 2x the engine as the 2.5 is a PITA to tune etc... pro .15 is pretty good with tuning but low on power. oh and the Rustler is EASILY broken when stock

For the price and value I'd get the HPI MT2. But just about any ST will take the rustler.

FRom what I've seen, go witht he NMT, You wont be disapointed and if he engien steps up on ya but a Wasp 18 and whoop his ass.

I say MT2 myself I'm a little bit partial though. I wouldn't consider the Rush for a ST truck at all. I would try to get like a XXXNT or something like that.
