Ok Guys so i have an HPI Rush EVO Nitro and was wondering how can i gain more power ?

simple question , hoping to get an answer :D

Thanks Drew

You can gain a little more power by changing fuels. By running 30% instead of 20% you gain more power and better start ups. Be advised you will have to re tune as well. With higher nitro content use a medium or cold plug as well. Best bet is to reset back to factory settings and retune from there. Engine will run richer settings with 30%. You can also find more power from running a high performance or race tuned exhaust system.

Higher Nitro Content like 30% nitro will make engine run hotter temps. Thus causing you to tune engine to not over heat the engine.. IMO I use 20% Nitro myself & would not suggest using 30% if your just and everyday Basher... 30% Nitro is used buy a lot of Racers.....

I've never had an issue with 30% causing my engines to run hotter. Actually mine has ran a few degrees cooler with 30% due to the fact of a richer tune. I now run a 25% with 10-11% oil because for quite a long time my lhs didnt have any 30%. Both my picco .26 and my LRP .28 use the same fuel and hold temps around 230-240 with it being close to 90 degrees outside.

Start by getting everything running perfect, so you have a solid base to improve on.

Get your gearing right. Bigger spur gear or/and smaller clutchbells will give you better acceleration, Smaller spur gear and/or bigger clutchbell will give you more top speed. In both cases you'll find that it's not a good idea to go to extremes, since a very low gearing will make your wheels spin wasting power (besides no top speed), and an extremely high gearing can give very poor acceleration & lower top speed due to insufficient engine power. It's a matter of finding the sweet spot, depending on how and where you run your rc.

TIRES! The most important thing for a stadium truck, since you don't have the benefits of 4wd you'll need a good set. There are different types for different surfaces. I found the Proline Gladiators to be good all rounders for the rear on my rustler, decent on grass, hard pack and street runs.

Assuming you still have the stock t-15 engine I would recommend a tuned pipe for it and using 25% nitro fuel. 30% on that mill will shorten it's life considerably and won't give you that much extra power, not to mention that 30% nitro fuel is more expensive.

Hope this helps!!
