Hello everyone. I would like an answer to this dilemma. Can sg shaft engine like the os 18TM fiit inside an HPI RS4 belt driven, and a HPI RS4 3 Shaft driven car?

See I have both cars and is offering an OS 18TM and a XTM .18 SG engine at really good prices. I would like to put this two engines into my cars. Please help.

Yep. Easiest way is to get a set of mounts from Wolfpack radicals.

yes,

onion's correct....use the link on the site to ask him if he's got anymore left. i think thats you're only option as there arent that many adjustable mounts on the market. while you're at it, take a look at his two speed too. i've got both and he's got some GREAT quality products.

Markallen,

According to the mfgr. the engine was designed with those cars in mind, buuuut, by looking at the pics, it looks to have an sg shaft. Long story short, you can fit anything into anything...it's just about how much you want to spend doing it

Yes they do have a SG shaft but it's shorter than the standard SG shaft. It's the SG shaft that requires a Traxxas clutch setup. It's too short for a 2 speed clutch bell to fit it.

Well there rlouis,

There you go....if that's the case, you'll spend more on making it fit than getting one that's meant to fit....check out the tmaxx/revo threads and see what they have to say...I'm sure SOMEBODY has to have on there....

While you're at it, check out the 18cv-r for your rides....it can come in either sg or standard cranks and it'll be PLENTY of power for both the nitro2 and 3.....and at around 100 bucks you can't go wrong..I've got one on my nitro 3 and am nothing short of satisfied with the results
