so these things have ball diffs and i have never had anything with this setup...i now have three of these recons for the kids and one of them burnt up both the front and rear diff...melted the gears in half....so my question is what do i need to do to keep these things in good shape....how do i care for a ball diff...thanks guys...

It's kind of like a slipper clutch. You need to tighten it all the way and then loosen it up a 1/8 to 1/4 turn.

ok...guess i just got to get a feel for how tight they need to be....is there anything i can do to make them last longer...lol...they are expensive little things...i guess maybe his was just to loose and slipping excessively
