I like white letter tires!

Did you use a brush to paint the tires?

I think it looks pretty cool too. Just don't expect it to last. Running off-road will kill your white walls 1,2,3. I think on-road they might last a little longer. But, they definitely look cool.

you can get a sheet from an automotive store.. I've used them on full size 17R tires... if you want them to last longer spray them with acrylic clear paint...

Dude that does look pretty cool. I don't think it would look real swell on a touring car though. However that's just my opinion.

Actually just for the test I used White Out with the sponge brush applicator, when I was an over the road trucker I used to paint the letters on my rig's tires with the paint sticks, I think they look good on the r/c car but I think you are all right about it not lasting with off road use......but it would look very cool to show up at the bash with your white letter tires and it only takes about 2 minutes at most per tire to accomplish. Ofcoarse if you really wanted to trick out the tires you could always go with the color of your ride, say red or blue letter tire, just a thought........

i really like the tires!

would you be able to use like a armor-all first to make the tires look nice and black, then pant the letters on?

just a question

Probably would be better off cleaning the tires, then painting them, and then finally applying the armour all. By the way guys and gals I finally got my new metal spur gear installed and properly meshed, and I also finished painting the rest of the white letters, here is a pic of the right side of the truck, oh yea I also added an exhaust extension! https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2961&size=big&papass=&sort=1&thecat=

It only takes about 2 - 3 minutes per tire to do, I used White Out with the sponge brush applicater, since it seems to give that "real white letter effect"
