HPI Pro Foams and Fast Tires(GRP) Foams

My Yokomo GT-4 was in desperate need of some good wheels and tires(worn through to the foam insert, heavily curb-rashed wheels) and I thought I might as well give foams a try. The hobby store had HPI Pro Foams and GRP Fast Tires, so I bought a pack of each(both were pre-mounted). I won't be able to try them out for a while. I know that the GRPs come on the Mugen MTX-3 and the Pro Foams come on the R40. The GRPs, in fact, supposedly only fit the MTX-3. That's not true; they fit my car perfectly.

Has anyone used either of these before?

I have a MTX-3 with the Fast tires. They run well and I like the longevity of them. Never tried the HPI's so can't help u there.

My uncle has them tires and they last very long and hook up good.(fast tires).....Nick

where can you find a wide selection of rims and tires. 26mm..I need somethin tight racer style

HPI has some nice ones, and I suppose you could try Hobby People and Tower Hobbies, too.

P.S. I just got 4 GRP Fast Foams for the price of 2 due to "damaged packaging" at Hobby People. I may not need this many wheels and tires, but I mean really, could I pass up that offer?
