Savage for sure. The xl can't be beat, wont break a thing. Tmaxx are money pits. I go through slipper clutch pads, about 5$ for two pads every gallon or so. But have been through 3 gallons on my used xl and it is still strong, easy to start, powerful, and not broke a thing. Use only to scream around yard and do flips climbing up trees. Seriously, savage has been a reliable truck.

I own a XL, couldn't be happier. Extremely tough and heaps of fun. Maybe they're slightly more expensive but it IS worth it.

Go hpi I've had a tmaxx and a revo and they dont even compare to the savage.
