Okay, so I hit the rocks today with a 6pack and some herbal, got all stoked to snap some pics, got 2 in, and camera died.......

So,,,,, here is what the new look is doin for me on the rocks, most of my paint schemes for scalers and crawlers is flat black lol, so this is new to my eyes.

Okay, I had my old 120mm droop springs from my EEM AX10 I had and decided to throw them on and give a drooped wraith a whirl. The rig did pretty good drooped, but wasn't bashable, like jumping and really going fast speeds because the shocks are completely closed while running flat areas. So other than the rig feeling fragile because of droop, it did overall very well, but am not keeping them on. I am going to rebuild my shocks so they are interal sprung and see how that plays out.

Pics of the day, I actually lost to the sunset on the trails and was pitch black in some places on this trail. Lol THANKFULLY, my Wraith has headlights so she guided me back no problem. Lol enjoy

^^ I think its so much funner in the rain, just make sure your rig is almost waterproof, dont submerge the rig at all, and go trailin in the rain. Me personally, I bring a 6 pack of beer and a couple spliffs and forget about life and do my thang!!!

Okay guys, I am kind of lost on what I should do next to her.
This wont be a Vanquish Product rig so my budget will be much more limited this time around unless I can sell some crap. But I need some suggestions on where to steer next with the Wraith, and yes I know, I need a driver...

Alright, so I went out scalin today on the trail and actually found an old backtrail leading me down to another section of crick. So I proceeded down, I know this was old because I had alot of dead debris along with crouching under overhanging branches & shrubs. So when I got to the crick, this is what I saw very first. I forgot my camera so I used my cell because this amazed me.

This tree is about 6 feet across at its wide point and I would say 3-4 feet that you see. The tree ravished stright up out of my site into the light and out of the thicket. The tree is very old because that type grows slower than most trees. The black hole in the tree at bottom center was a dark hole going in as far as my eye could see into the tree and going a bit below ground level. I mean this thing was creepy, I could not see all the way in the hole because it was so dark, even with my Wraith's lights. If you were to remove that rock and dig that hole into manhole size you could hide in there lol I was a little scared for a minute but was cool after a smoke.

Yesterday we had a run up on the rocks, with some new faces I have never met, all were very friendly, and when my Wraith wouldnt perform on a fully charged pack they insisted on finding the problem. After dropping the skid plate down from the chassis to check binding in the shafts, yolks, diffs & mesh on the spur/pinion, they threw a new pack in and it ran great.... So I jsut stood back and watched them work in the middle of the road, heres a bajillion pics of it all. Enjoy! The Wraith also took about a 60-70ft cartwheel down a pretty sheer face we were climbing up, amazingly, nothing busted at all.

Thanks guys, lol Lloyd, I aggree, the AX10 wasn't my favorite but everyone starts from somewhere lol.

I tried to tell the cat with the AX10 about switching that chassis to my EEM comp chassis and he told me it was already a comp crawler..... OOOOOOKKKAAAYYYYY thennn...

Yeah, I think that's why my interest in the cars n trucks wanes from time to time. I just have no one to run with, or even BS with for that matter, and I get bored. The only local group here is the group I fly with, I think that's why I'm so absorbed in helis right now, because there's an active aero modeling club, and I'm on the hunt for my first plank.

yeah it is pretty hard to find people to run with!!! I am still looking l.o.l. I have been trying to get a few people to buy a couple rigs aswell.. no luck.. the closest people I know that even own them are about an hour away and I dont have a vehicle or license at the moment so that sucks!!!!

On another note I was out in the snow the other day when it snowed and the mudslingers werent performing anywhere close to how they work in the mud, so I was wondering if you would know of a tire tread that would probly work better in the snow, someone told me to put screws in it But I want to keap it scale ya know?? I am also gonna make some chains aswell as a good set of snow tires.. any ideas would be great.. I thought I was alset because I was gonna get a pretty big scale/crawler tires and beadlock rims lot, I think there was around 10 different set of tires and about that many rim sets all beadlocks aswell and now It's a no go I guess so I have to find a good set so I dont have to buy abunch of them to find out the best if someone else has had real good luck with a certain set..

Today on the trail I got the nerve to stick my camera just inside the entrance of that giant tree burrow hole thingy... Had a great run with video coming later, and 3 out of 4 diabled rigs 3/4 through including stripped pinion, servo horm and 1 dead Summit..
