HPI Engine Question

Hello.
Why is that the turd .15 fe cost 73$ the T-15 is 70$ and the .15ss costs 130ish$ ? what I'm getting at is why is the ss cost more than the others when it's only rated @ .7 hp.. the fe @.56 and the T-15 clains 1.2 hp at a 70$ price.. So is the T-15 the better one?

Um, they're all pretty much cheap n00b engines. I'd think the 15ss would be better, but i guess if the hp racing is higher in the T-15, I guess the T-15 is better.

But if you buy any of those engines, you're just buying the HPI name. You can get better engines for the same price.

Don't ever judge an engine by published figures.

The 15FE and SS are not made by the same engine maker as the T15 (HPI don't make the engines they sell). The T15 maker almost certainly used a different method of measurement, so the hp comparison is invalid.
