My Grave Robber body took second place at the HPI Challenge this past weekend. The HPI representatives told me they thought that my body should have taken first, but they were not the judges. First place was taken by the guy that hosts the CFX Paintworks site. The CFX body was nice.

HPI posted a lot of pics of my body on their site, and only 1 pic of the body that took first place.:D My 69 Charger and C6 Corvette bodies are also up there.

The HPI pics can be found **here**.

His paint job was certainly nice and it definitely required more airbrushing skills than mine did. It looked like his designs were probably done by hand with liquid mask. That being said, numerous people (including HPI) preferred my design.

I think the guys from HPI are right. The Nissan body is well done but I've seen so many similar designs that it's getting old. On yours I particularly like the flame ghost. If you look at it quick you miss it but a second slower look is really warranted for your truck. Keep up the great work man!

Great job.

You should have won. No question about it.

What paint did you use for the burgundy?

I used:
* Spaz Purple Dynamite Metal Anno
* Spaz Mirror Chrome
* Spaz Holographic
* Pactra Charcoal (roof)
* Pactra Pearl White
* Createx Golden Yellow
* Createx Transparent Bright Red
* Parma FasBlack
* Parma FasWhite
* Parma FasTint (side and rear windows)

Rossb.... Well done my friend. I agree with the others.... first place all the way!
